Orff method Carl Orff (1895–1982) is a German composer, teacher and conductor.

He developed his own method of musical education for children, the main element of which is singing and playing simple percussion instruments (the so-called Orff instrumentarium, which includes: drums, tambourines, knockers, rattles, triangles, melodic bells).
